Local vintage photos, drawings, maps, memoirs, military or family photos & artifacts, journals/diaries, artwork, documents & ads, souvenirs, heirlooms, keepsakes, postcards, newspaper articles, books, antiques, etc. Also missing the following years of Bay Port Yearbooks: '71-'75, '77, '80-'88, '91, '94, '97, 2002. We welcome everyone who delights in learning about the pasts of our two communities. Our members are involved in area history through a variety of programs and special events, meetings, collecting historical items and new ideas for our museum.
Howard-Suamico Historical Society Calendars
The 2016 calendars are now available for sale. They sell for $4.00. Each month offers a vintage, full size photo, depicting life and times in Howard and Suamico. Many monthly dates are marked with historical anniversaries and events of national interest, as well as local interest. These calendars also have the history details and other helpful information regarding the Howard-Suamico Historical Society. They are available at: H-S Memories Shows, HSHS Meetings, or can be purchased in our store.
HSHS will have the aluminum can bin #2 behind the Howard Village Hall for the month of September. Please save your aluminum cans and deposit them into Bin # 2 behind the Howard Village Hall. All proceeds go back to the historical society. Thank you!
