2012 USED BOOK SALE
The Howard-Suamico Historical
Society will be holding their Third Annual Used Book Sale on Thursday, August 9, 2012. We are collecting gently used books for the sale. Drop-off
points for the books are at Thornberry Cottage at 345 Cardinal Lane in Howard, Kimp’s Ace Hardware at 2548 Glendale
Avenue in Howard, and at the Suamico Village Hall at 2999 Lakeside in Suamico. If you have books to donate but are unable to drop them off, please call Tim Rasmussen at 434-3514
or Joy Schabow at 434-1331 and arrangements will be made to pick the books up.
RUMMAGE SALE We took part in the Annual Suamico Village-Wide Rummage Sale on Friday/Saturday, May 4-5, 2012 at the Vickery Homestead on Velp Avenue.
Geri Corbeille also set up her hot dog stand at this event. It was a huge success and the leftover items were donated to Manna For Life, a local thrift store. Thanks to all who donated to this sale!

Our Military Wall titled "Honor
and Remember" is growing all the time. We currently have over 60 photos of veterans from Howard and Suamico on this wall.
Get us a photo and we will add yours to this wall to be viewed by all who come to our museum.
Our Sport Cap collection currently numbers about 60 sports caps.
We are still collecting caps for this collection. If you have a cap or caps to donate, they can be brought to a Memories Show
or General Membership meeting or by calling any board member for pick up.

stayed after for our white elephant exchange and refreshments.
