WAR DISCUSSION GROUP The Howard-Suamico Historical Society will start its Civil War Discussion
(Roundtable) 150 years to the date the War began, Tuesday, April 12, 1861. The group will meet on the first Tuesday
of each month at 6:30pm in the HSHS Office at 605 Maywood Avenue, just south of Mr. Goodwrench on Velp Avenue. The Roundtable
will have informal Civil War discussions. This group is open to the public but seating is limited. Preregistration

our military residents to our "Honor & Remember Wall" and are also looking for various military
items to display at the HSHS Musuem located
at 605 Maywood Avenue ~ Howard.
COLLECTING HOWARD-SUAMICO ITEMS OF HISTORICAL INTEREST:
Vintage
photographs, drawings, maps, memoirs, military photos & artifacts, family journals/diaries, artifacts, local artwork,
business documents & advertisements, memorabilia, souvenirs, local family heirlooms, momentoes, keepsakes, collections,

Our Military Wall titled "Honor and Remember"
is growing all the time. We currently have over 60 photos of veterans from Howard and Suamico on this wall. Get us a photo
and we will add yours to this wall to be viewed by all who come to our museum.
Our
Sport Cap collection currently numbers about 60 sports caps. We are still collecting caps for this collection. If you
have a cap or caps to donate, they can be brought to a Memories Show or General Membership meeting or by calling any board
member for pick up.

entertainment for the evening was Bobby Rivers who does tributes to many of our early singers. Everyone loved him. He also
stayed after for our white elephant exchange and refreshments.

Rogers picked out her white elephant while Tom Rotter was enjoying a refreshment.
